With a diversified industrial park spanning over 5,000m², it offers robust solutions for various industrial sectors, including furniture, automotive, capital goods, construction, white goods, telecommunications, among others.

Of family origin, Wind Industrial has roots in Germany, but was born, grew, and developed in Rio Negrinho, Santa Catarina, in southern Brazil.

Our History

1949

On board the ship "Vesper," Mr. Wilhelm Wind and Grethel Marta Schumann Wind disembarked in Brazil, accompanied by their two children and carrying two suitcases, which contained all their belongings.

1952

Mr. Wilhelm Wind began his entrepreneurial journey by setting up his first production benches at the back of his residence in São Bento do Sul - SC. His first products were inputs for the production lines of other local companies, such as the textile and furniture industries.

1960

Thus was born Metalúrgica Wilhelm e Wind — the family-owned company that pioneered what would become Wind Industrial.

1980

Mr. Wilhelm, attentive to market developments and always focused on his customers, invested in zamak injection technology by acquiring the first line of injection machines in Brazil’s Southern Region, establishing a branch of his company in Rio Negrinho.

1994

It was the year the "Elliptical Nut" product was developed, which in the 2000s went on to gain the furniture market worldwide.

1999

The company became ISO 9001 certified.

1999

Through a succession spin-off process, Wind Industrial Ltda. was established, inheriting from its predecessor the know-how in injection molding as well as its customers.

2000

Wind Industrial completed its first export.

2001

The first company in Rio Negrinho, Santa Catarina, to have an effluent treatment station.

2001

In 2001, Wind Industrial became the first furniture accessories company in Latin America to have an Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System, certified to ISO 9001 and 14001.
